Rachida El Garani is a filmmaker of Moroccan origin, born in 1975 in Genk, Belgium.\nIn 2011, at the age of 36, she began studies in audiovisual arts at RITCS Brussels (Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound). During her studies, she directed several short fiction films and documentaries, addressing themes such as gender, migration, human rights and diversity. Since then, she has pursued a rich and diverse career, working in cinema, television and reporting.
